Chase tried wiping away the huge grin stretching his lips without luck. “Is there a reason you’re nibbling on me?”

Seb nodded without giving up Chase’s finger. “You’re delicious. Seriously, you need to try this.” At his claim, Seb rolled, tucking Chase beneath him before attempting to force Chase’s finger in his own mouth.

A bark of laughter escaped Chase. He pushed Seb’s hands away but didn’t try to get away. “You’re right. I do need to try this,” he said as he shot upward and captured Seb’s mouth. Those plump lips had teased him too long. Chase needed to know their flavor.

Seb’s weight sank into Chase. They molded together. Their fingers linked. Sometimes he couldn’t get close enough. He tried, but Seb felt just out of reach.

As he stared up at Seb, the question escaped. He had to know. “What made you decide to come home early? Not that I’m complaining,” Chase tacked on for good measure.

Seb dipped his head and buried his face against the side of Chase’s throat. “Mmm,” Seb hummed against his skin. “This spot right here,” Seb said, kissing Chase’s pulse point. “Sometimes I can’t stop thinking about it. This morning, as I watched your interview, you turned your head, and I caught a glimpse of this spot. I had to come home.”

“Just for that spot?” Chase asked, sounding breathless even to his ears.

“Yep. I want to rub my dick on it.”

Another bark of laughter sneaked out at Seb’s claim.

Chase felt Seb’s lips shape into a smile against his throat. “Oh, yeah, baby. Keep it up. I’m picturing that laughter vibrating against my cock as I fuck your neck.”

“You’re ridiculous.” Even as Chase made the claim, he held Seb tighter.

Seb’s mouth moved to Chase’s ear. “Seriously, I couldn’t stay away. Some days I’m weaker than others. I had to feed my addiction of being with you.”

Chase suppressed a wave of longing. Seb’s lips brushing the shell of his ear was the shit dreams were made of. “I have a confession,” Chase said, needing Seb to know the habit went both ways. “You caught me showering before I intended to fly out to California to be with you.”

Seb leaned away and met Chase’s gaze. “Are you being serious?”

Chase nodded. “My suitcase is still on the dresser.”

As if he didn’t believe Chase, Seb cast a glance toward the dresser. Chase’s suitcase sat open and half packed. “The only thing in that dresser is our toys.”

Chase kept his face blank by force of will alone. Inside his head, he couldn’t stop smirking. “So it is.”

Seb rolled to his side, freeing Chase. “Does that mean you intended to bring the kink when you came for me?”

“Hmmm,” Chase said, playing dumb. “I guess we’ll never know.”

  “Show me.”

Chase sucked in a deep breath at Seb’s growled demand. Seb had used his “I’m going to do bad things to you” voice. Chase had never been able to deny Seb anything when he used that tone. After slipping from the bed, he moved to the dresser while using his nudity against Seb. He’d never thought much about his looks one way or the other, but Seb had never made any secret of how he felt about Chase’s body. The man made him feel damn sexy. He felt Seb’s gaze following him across the room. Chase hid his smile as he opened the top drawer. He knew Seb would make him pay if he teased him.

“Show me what you planned to bring,” Seb demanded again.

Chase grabbed the first item he saw. He held out a bottle of massage oil.

Seb nodded his approval. “Naturally. What else?”

He spotted a black prostate massager. He snagged it as well. “This is for you,” Chase said, holding the toy up for Seb to see.

A hum came from deep inside Seb’s throat. Chase’s dick stirred at the sound. “Toss those over.”

  Chase did as told.

Seb easily caught them. “Which toy is for you?”

Chase eyed the contents. His hunger grew. Seb had something no one else had. A million times, Chase had tried to decide what the man did for him that no one else could. His gaze landed on a collar. That was what he wanted, but then again, he didn’t. Seb owned him without the leather tugging at his throat.

Chase turned, empty handed. “Your hands are what I need.”

Seb rearranged the pillows behind him before leaning against the headboard. While holding Chase’s gaze, he popped the lid on the oil and coated his hands and the massager. After pulling his knees up, he clicked the button making the toy vibrate before slipping it inside his ass. His eyes fell closed as if the pleasure was too much. Chase palmed his aching cock at the sight. He envied the piece of molded plastic. A flush rose on Seb’s cheeks. Chase’s stomach growled.

With his toy in place, Seb dropped his knees. His erection stood proud, making Chase’s mouth water. Seb patted his lap. “You. Right here. Face down.”

Chase bit back a moan. He knew what being turned over Seb’s knee meant—heaven. Chase fought the urge to race across the room. Instead, he moved as if he had all the time in the world, dragging out the anticipation and ensuring his punishment would be swift. He crawled onto the bed. For a moment, their gazes locked before Chase settled face down in Seb’s lap. In that brief second of meeting Seb’s sexy green gaze, Chase had been reminded of why he was completely in love with Seb. Shame didn’t live here.

Seb massaged his ass, coating the skin with oil. Each stroke came closer and closer to his crack. When Seb finally dipped inside, toying with his asshole before moving to his balls, Chase sucked in a breath. Seb was the only man Chase had ever met who didn’t brag about his ability to go all night. The man could—no need to boast. Without warning, Seb’s palm landed on Chase’s ass cheek—hard. Chase’s dick leaked on the man’s thighs. He held his moan at bay, earning another strike. Chase bit his bottom lip hard enough to taste blood, trying not to beg. His muscles tensed, expecting another blow. Instead, Seb smoothed his hand over Chase’s ass, taking away the sting.

Chase grabbed two handfuls of sheet and squeezed his eyes shut as Seb’s touch moved lower. Slick fingers pushed inside him, curling and finding his prostate. Chase caught himself humping Seb’s lap. When he realized what he was doing, he forced himself to still.

“You should see yourself right now,” Seb said, sounding turned on. “Quiet. Obedient. Horny as hell.” He heard Seb take a deep breath. “Your dick is leaking on my leg, soaking me with pre-cum.” Seb kept fucking him with his fingers, slowly pumping and twisting. Chase whimpered. “I know you want to touch yourself, but you won’t.” Seb’s fingers slipped from Chase’s ass. He massaged Chase’s balls, lightly tugging at his root before sliding inside once more. “Instead, I want you to turn your head and watch me.”

Chase didn’t hesitate to do as Seb asked.

The instant their gazes met, Seb fisted his cock with his free hand while still fucking Chase’s ass with his fingers. “Look how horny you make me. Do you have any idea how often I jack off while thinking about doing just this—having my fingers in your ass?” Seb’s nostrils flared. Chase thought he might hyperventilate from being too turned on. Seeing Seb’s huge hand wrapped around his own dick, pumping and seeking relief, was too fucking sexy. “I’m going to come all over your back. Then, I’m going to lick it off before tonguing your asshole until you scream. I won’t touch your dick. Neither will you, but you will give me your orgasm. Do you understand?”

“Yes.” Chase was more concerned he might come by Seb’s words alone.

Seb pulled away and slapped Chase’s ass once more. “Yes, what?”

Chase swallowed down a moan. “Yes, sir.”

Seemingly mollified, Seb squeezed Chase’s ass cheek before going back to fingering him. Chase’s brain split between the things Seb did to his body and the impact he had on Chase’s mind. It was a battle not to push to his knees and openly take his pleasure from Seb’s hand. Watching Seb fucking his fist kept him locked in place. Seb’s throat worked as he swallowed air and reached for orgas
m. Chase’s gaze focused on the sight. He loved watching Seb’s throat work just like that as he sucked Chase’s dick.

“Goddamn, Chase. You look like you can taste me.”

“I can. You’re my favorite dish.” Even to Chase’s ears, he sounded half human.

“Fuck, baby. I’m about to come.”

Chase couldn’t as much as blink in fear of missing a moment. “Let me have it. I want it.”

As if he’d been waiting for Chase’s permission, semen shot from Seb’s dick, hitting Chase’s ass and lower back. The noises coming from Seb had Chase humping his lap again. In an explosion of movement, Seb shoved his way out from underneath Chase. He tugged Chase to the edge of the mattress, urging him onto his knees. While holding Chase’s hips, keeping him in place, Seb’s hot tongue lapped at his skin. Mewling noises escaped Chase as Seb licked away the cum. Before he could recover his senses, Seb roughly spread Chase’s ass cheeks and dove in face first. Chase buried his face in the mattress to smother his loud moans.

Seb tongued his asshole, teasing him with the lightest flicks before spearing him. Chase rocked back against the man’s face, needing more. Seb traced the line from Chase’s asshole to his balls and back again. Chase ground his back teeth, fighting the urge to kick his legs in a fit of temper. He needed to come. It was right there. Seb purposely kept him on edge. A half second before he resorted to violence, Seb bit his ass cheek hard and shoved two fingers inside, twisting at the perfect angle. An orgasm so hard it tore a scream from his throat ripped through Chase. It went on and on, coating the bed in cum. Lights popped behind his closed lids. His head spun, making him realize he was holding his breath. Post-orgasmic bliss brought about a lightning clarity of his level of insanity when it came to Seb—Chase would kill for this man. Bleed for this man. Die for this man. Even if they had to run away and live in squalor, he would never allow anything to tear them apart.

  Chapter 2

Mara King matched Chase in many ways. They’d both started their careers young, working on the same show, and they’d both gone on to great success. She was the only person who knew about Seb. The only person who let him be himself.

  “You’re smiling today.”

Chase glanced up from his plate at her observation. He tried rearranging his features and failed. “Yeah, I guess I am.”

Mara smiled. Her green eyes lit. “What’s got you so happy? I thought Seb was out of town?”

“He came back early,” Chase said, hearing the happiness in his admission and incapable of hiding it.

Mara’s smile slipped. Her brow furrowed. “I hope everything is okay. What brought him home early?”

  Heat filled his cheeks. “Me.”

A snort escaped Mara, making Chase’s blush deepen. They tried meeting at least once a month for brunch. When he’d planned this month’s morning date, he’d thought Seb would be gone. Not that he complained. Being with Mara was freeing. He hoped he offered her the same.

“You should’ve invited him along,” Mara said, sounding somewhat disappointed Chase hadn’t.

He rushed to fix it. “I’d planned on it, but he didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. What about your bunch?” he asked, turning the tables. It was obvious she would’ve like to have seen Seb. Yet Mara never invited the pair who owned her heart—Early and Landon—Mara’s lovers. Her secret. They were such a pair.

Mara shook her head, looking uncomfortable, but she didn’t elaborate. Since Chase didn’t want to pry, he let it drop. “I’ll let Seb know he should’ve moved his ass and come along.”

Mara’s smile reappeared. “Please do. I haven’t seen him in forever.”

As Mara launched into a story of a ski trip they’d taken together once, reminding him of old times, Chase stared at her, and wondered why everyone couldn’t be like her. He also wondered why they were such cowards. They were happy. Why did they hide? Mara had publicly dated other actors, rock stars, and—most recently—a hockey player. All as a cover to keep anyone from finding out about Early and Landon. Chase had gone the opposite direction, choosing instead to be as private and under the radar as possible. There’d been rumors about his sexuality. Since a name had never been linked with his, the tabloids had gotten bored long ago. Occasionally, an article would pop up, claiming he was dating his latest co-star, but never from any reputable source.

At one time, several sources had speculated about his relationship with Mara. Since they’d kept up the denials, and she’d openly dated other people, they were more likely nowadays to end up on the front page of a magazine as old friends. It was the only story about his life the tabloids had ever gotten right.

Mara paused. Her mouth turned up in one corner. “Is everything okay? You’re looking at me funny.”

With a shake of his head, Chase brushed away her concerns. “I was just thinking how lucky I am to have you as a friend.”

  “Awwww, I feel the same.”

Chase didn’t miss his opportunity. “You know you can talk to me about anything, right?”

A sad smile touched Mara’s lips. “I know. I’m just not ready.” She blinked back tears, making Chase realize she was hiding more than he first realized. Rather than pushing for answers, he did all he could do—he changed the subject while secretly thanking every deity listening for giving him Seb.

Seb stared at the closed refrigerator door. Several minutes had passed since he got up with the intent of grabbing something to drink. Instead, he’d gotten lost in thought. It was easy when years came and went to forget about the bullshit left behind. That is, until one minor shift in reality brought everything crashing back down. When he’d rolled out of bed that morning, he’d done so with the knowledge Chase would be home soon. Maybe they’d catch a movie? Curl up and listen to an audiobook together?

Then, his phone rang, and one conversation later, Seb wondered why he’d never changed his number—walked away from everything except Chase. Unfortunately, family was his weakness. As shitty as his mother was, there’d always been a small part of him clinging to hope that she would change—and love her only son.

The clank of Chase’s keys hitting the countertop jerked Seb from his funk. He blinked, chasing away the red coating his vision.

  “Hey, baby.”

Chase closed the distance between them and captured Seb’s lips in a hot but too short kiss before responding, “Hey.”

Like that, with one word, happiness stormed its way back into Seb’s heart. “Did you have a good time with Mara?”

Chase nodded as he opened the fridge. “She was disappointed you weren’t there. I told her I’d let you know. She tried to talk me into going shopping after we ate, but I told her we had plans.”

As much as Seb didn’t want to ruin Chase’s mood, he couldn’t avoid it. “You should’ve gone.”

Chase cracked the seal on a bottle of water as he focused on Seb. “Why? I thought you wanted to see a movie today.”

  “My mom is in town.”

Chase went still. He turned and set the bottle of water aside, keeping his gaze averted. Seb knew it was Chase’s way of keeping his feelings hidden. “What brings her to New York?”

That was why Chase had won so many awards for his acting ability—he hadn’t flown into a rage at the first mention of the woman who’d taken his dad for millions.

“She didn’t say. All she said is she’s taking me to lunch.”

“Well, I’m out,” Chase said, heading for his shoes and stomping into them again.

A light knock landed on the front door. “Too late,” Seb said, incapable of keeping the regret from his voice. He didn’t want to go. It was his mom, as horrible as she might be.

Before answering, Chase pressed a quick kiss to Seb’s lips. “Maybe for you,” he said with a laugh. “Love you,” he tacked on, heading for the door. He barely spared a glance for Viv as he let her in. “Viv,” Chase said on his way out. He pulled the door closed behind him without waiting for her response.

  The sunlight stre
aming from the windows gave a slight glow to Viv’s auburn hair as she eyed the front door. She giggled, sounding like a teenager instead of her fifty-two years. “So, I see Chase still hates me.”

“Well, his dad did catch you eating out his personal assistant and yet you still managed to snag three million dollars of his money in the divorce.”

One of Viv’s dainty shoulders lifted in a half shrug. “I didn’t make out near as well as I should have.”

“You made out better than the assistant,” Seb said, accepting her quick kiss on the cheek.

Viv rolled her eyes. “She was his personal assistant, for God’s sake. If anyone should’ve known the man’s schedule so we wouldn’t get caught, it was her.” She cast a look around. “So, this is where you’ve been living? It’s a prime location. Still, I’d think Chase could find a bigger place with his money,” she added, without giving him time to respond. “This place was what? A million?” She glanced down the hall. “Only one bedroom?”

Seb held her stare without answering.

She shrugged again. “Not that I’m judging.”

Not that she could. “I’m sure.”

“Seriously, son. You’ve got a good scheme going here. Don’t fuck it up.”

Seb blew out a sigh. He didn’t even know where to start with that one. “So, did you really want to go to lunch?” he said instead, because there was no sense in trying to reason with his mom, and he didn’t believe for a second she wanted to spend time with him.

Her smile turned brittle. “Well, I had to get you away from Chase somehow, but since he’s fixed that by running away, I guess there’s no sense in extending our time together.”

It was as he thought. Seb tried not to wince. He didn’t need a degree in psychology to know she was the reason he was fucked in the head. It was funny how he never learned. Always let her hurt him and control him. She would never love him.

“No,” he said, surprising even himself with how cold he sounded. “I’d rather not look at you for any longer than necessary.”
